In a groundbreaking study from Duke University, researchers reveal that protected areas, often viewed as barriers to economic development, can actually foster biodiversity without impeding local economies. Conservation zones, such as nature reserves, play a pivotal role in safeguarding biodiversity, preserving endangered species, and maintaining natural habitats.
